According to the medical reports, patient is diagnosed with Chronic Liver Cirrhosis. Chronic liver cirrhosis is the late stage of chronic liver disease where healthy liver tissue is replaced by permanent scar tissue. This progressive scarring disrupts the liver’s internal structure, blocks normal blood flow, and severely restricts its ability to process nutrients, filter toxins, and produce vital proteins.
Evaluations needed – The patient will have to undergo detailed physical and clinical investigations which include –Fibro scan, PFT, FNAC, CT liver angiogram ,HBs Ag, Anti HBs Abs, Anti HCV Abs, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, & AFP, Bronchoscopy, Endoscopy, CBC, LFT, KFT, Ultrasound whole abdomen, Urine investigation, blood Investigation and other related investigations to confirm the above diagnosis.

Liver Transplantation is a surgical procedure performed to replace a diseased liver with a healthy liver from another person. The liver may come from a living donor who is a close family member. Family members make a good match may be able to donate a portion of their liver (same blood group / O group). In case they are not blood group compatible patient may need to undergo Electrophoresis therapy before liver transplant.
