3. Will my treatment be cashless, or do I need to pay first and claim reimbursement?

For most insurance providers, we facilitate cashless treatment after obtaining pre-approval before you travel to India. When cashless billing is not available, HBG also assists patients with the insurance reimbursement process.

4. Does HBG also helps with accommodation and logistics?

HBG Medical Assistance also provides for cashless services for accommodation, food, transport and medications. Such a cash less service for accommodation, food, transport and medications depends upon your insurance policy and approval from the insurer.

7. What about visa fees and hotel payments?

Patients must apply for a Medical Visa ( M1 V) either online (e-Visa) or physically through the Indian High Commission (IHC) in their country. Applicable visa fees must be paid directly to the relevant authorities. Our team assists comprehensively with hotel accommodation bookings, logistics, medicines etc. Payments for these services are generally made directly by the patients, unless covered under insurance and insurance agrees to pay for the same.

8. Does the insurance cover hotel accommodations and local transport?

Coverage depends on the patient’s insurance policy. Some insurance providers cover hotel accommodations and local transport services. In such cases, HBG can facilitate cashless hotel accommodation arrangements provided they are covered by the insurance policy.
