Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh is a well-known hemato-oncologist and bone marrow transplant surgeon in Gurugram, India, and is currently the director of Sanar Hospital. Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh completed an MD (Medicine) degree at King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, and a DM-Hematology from AIIMS, New Delhi. He has also worked as the Head of the Department of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant at BLK Max Hospitals. He is an active member of the Indian Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion and the European Haematology Association.
Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh has experience in hematopoietic stem cell transplants in both malignant and non-malignant hematologic disorders, especially thalassemia, aplastic anemia, sickle cell disorders, neuroblastoma, leukemia, etc., and has performed more than 1300 bone marrow transplants, including autologous, allogenic, and half-matched transplants.

He has, by now, treated over 400 cases of acute myeloid leukemia from the world over, especially from Africa, where the incidence rate of AML (acute myeloid leukemia) is found to be high.
He has constantly used half-matched bone marrow transplants from family members where a matched sibling was not available for treatment of acute myeloid leukemia. With such experience, he is considered one of the best hematologists for the treatment of such blood cancers. In addition, he belongs to the Indian Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion (ISHBT) and the European Haematology Association (EHA). Another skill set of his is the treatment of aplastic anemia. Aplastic anemia is a blood disease in which a person’s bone marrow is unable to make enough new blood cells. In aplastic anemia, the bone marrow is unable to make enough red, white, and platelet blood cells. This is treated with an allogeneic bone marrow transplant.
