Dr. Ritesh Mongha is the Clinical Director and Head of Department of Urology, Robotic Uro-oncology and Renal Transplant at Marengo Asia Hospitals, Faridabad. With 24 years of experience, he specialises in treating kidney, bladder, and prostate conditions, kidney stones, and other urinary system problems. He also has extensive experience in kidney transplantation and advanced urological surgeries.
Dr. Mongha has performed over 700 kidney transplants, including complex cases, and more than 700 laparoscopic donor nephrectomies, a minimally invasive procedure to remove a kidney from a donor for transplantation. His expertise also includes robotic surgery for prostate, kidney and bladder cancers, helping patients access advanced surgical treatment through minimally invasive techniques where appropriate.
He has performed over 20,000 endourological procedures, which are treatments for urinary tract problems carried out using specialised instruments, often without large surgical cuts. His experience includes more than 1,000 laser prostate surgeries, over 1,000 RIRS procedures for kidney stones, and more than 500 major surgeries for cancers affecting the urinary system. He also treats complex kidney stones and performs reconstructive urological procedures.
Dr. Mongha completed his MBBS from Nalanda Medical College, Patna, followed by an MS in Surgery and DNB in General Surgery, and an MCh in Urology from the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research, Kolkata. He provides care for patients with a wide range of urological conditions, including kidney cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, male infertility, and other disorders requiring specialised surgical treatment.
