Dr. Vaibhaw Kumar is a highly skilled Director of the Institute of Liver Transplant and GI Surgery at Paras Hospital, with over 15 years of experience in the field of liver transplantation, hepatobiliary surgery, and advanced gastrointestinal procedures. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Nagpur, followed by an MS in General Surgery from the University of Delhi. He further specialized with an M.Ch. in GI, HPB & Liver Transplant Surgery from the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi, and also holds a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery (FALS).
Recognized as the best liver transplant specialist in India, Dr. Kumar has extensive expertise in performing complex surgical procedures, including Living Donor Liver Transplantation, Minimally Invasive Donor Hepatectomy, Whipple’s Pancreatico-Duodenectomy, Low Anterior Resection (LAR) Surgery, and Complex Hepatic Resections.
