Dr. (Lt Col) Gargi Vikas Sharma is a renowned obstetrician and gynaecologist in Delhi, with a distinguished career over 20 years. Dr. Gargi, who was born to Bengali parents, has made major contributions to obstetrics and gynaecology, both clinically and academically. She received an MBBS from the famous Armed Forces Medical College in Pune and an MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Command Hospital Air Force in Bangalore, where she received a Gold Medal from RGUHS in Karnataka.
Dr. Gargi’s service in the Army Medical Corps (AMC) was distinguished by her dedication and excellence. She worked as a Permanent Commission officer from 2001 until 2024, holding numerous significant posts in military hospitals across the country, including Army Hospital (R&R) Delhi and Command Hospital Lucknow.
