Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterine cavity. It primarily affects individuals during their reproductive years.
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormonal and metabolic disorder marked by irregular periods, excess androgen hormone levels, and sometimes enlarged ovaries with small cysts.
Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) is a common hormonal condition where the ovaries produce immature or partially mature eggs that can turn into cysts. Key signs include irregular periods, weight gain, and excess facial hair.
Pelvic floor disorders happen when the muscles and tissues supporting your lower organs become weak or do not work right, leading to urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and fecal incontinence.
Uterine fibroids are non-cancerous (benign) growths of muscle and tissue that develop in or on the walls of the uterus.
A myomectomy is a surgical procedure used to remove uterine fibroids—non-cancerous growths in the uterus—while keeping the uterus intact. Unlike a hysterectomy, which removes the entire uterus, a myomectomy preserves your fertility and reproductive organs.
Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that develop on or inside an ovary. They are incredibly common, usually benign (non-cancerous), and typically develop as a natural part of your monthly menstrual cycle.
Ovarian cyst excision surgery, medically termed an ovarian cystectomy, is a surgical procedure performed to remove fluid-filled sacs (cysts) from one or both ovaries while preserving as much healthy ovarian tissue as possible.
Advanced Gynecological Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive surgical technique that allows surgeons to diagnose and treat complex pelvic conditions through small, keyhole incisions. Utilizing 4K ultra-high-definition cameras and specialized precision instruments, this advanced approach provides high clarity and accuracy, eliminating the need for large, traditional open abdominal incisions.
A hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive medical procedure used to look inside your cervix and uterus. A doctor inserts a thin, lighted tube with a camera called a hysteroscope through the vagina, meaning no surgical cuts are needed on your abdomen.
Adolescent gynaecology is a medical subspecialty focused on the reproductive health and physical development of girls and young women aged 10 to 19. It covers key issues such as irregular menstrual cycles, painful cramps, and pubertal concerns.
Urogynecology is a specialized medical subspecialty focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor disorders and urinary tract conditions in women.
A unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy is the surgical removal of one fallopian tube and one ovary on the same side of the body. It is performed to treat ectopic pregnancies, ovarian cysts, adnexal torsion, or benign tumors.
