According to the shared report, the patient was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma and has already undergone surgery. Now, an evaluation of his present condition is needed, along with facial reconstruction.

Investigations required for diagnosis: The patient would be required to undergo a detailed evaluation, including CBC, normal routine tests, and imaging and diagnostic tests like CT and MRI.

Treatment Plan: The final treatment plan will be established once all investigations are completed and the baby is thoroughly assessed in person. If the results from the investigations are positive and the baby is found to be a suitable candidate for surgery, the doctors will proceed with facial reconstruction surgery. In the surgery, the eye orbit, the left-sided cheekbone, nose structure will be worked upon in the cheeks, especially if the doctor may use a custom-made implant. There is a very good chance the baby would look very normal. The surgery will be offered only if the baby is disease-free as of now.

Facial reconstruction surgery repairs structural defects, injuries, or abnormalities in the head and neck to restore both function and appearance. It treats damage from trauma, cancer resection, and congenital issues, often using techniques like skin grafts, bone repositioning, or microsurgery.
