Dr. Ramya Thota is a highly skilled Consultant in ENT, Head and Neck Surgery at KIMS Hospital. She is known for her expertise in a wide range of ENT and head-neck procedures, offering advanced care to both adult and paediatric patients.
With a special interest in endoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries, Dr. Ramya performs complex procedures such as endoscopic nose and sinus surgery, endoscopic DCR surgery, and endoscopic sino-nasal tumour surgery with precision and safety.
She is also experienced in surgery for chronic sinusitis, voice surgeries, and the management of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. Her proficiency extends to head and neck tumour surgeries, hearing loss management, and cochlear implant surgeries, along with the use of laser technology in ENT and head-neck surgeries.
Dr. Ramya completed her MBBS from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, and went on to pursue her MS in ENT from AIIMS. New Delhi, where she was awarded the Best Outgoing Postgraduate in ENT in 2017. To further enhance her expertise, she obtained multiple prestigious international qualifications, including FRCS (ORL-HNS) and MRCSEd (ENT) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and MIPDEd from John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals.
Dr. Ramya is also an active Member of the ENT, UK, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and a Member of the International Postgraduate Deanery (RCSEd).
