Dr. Puneet Khanna is a well-known lung specialist in Delhi, India, who leads the Pulmonology Department at Manipal Hospital. With over 25 years in the field, he has treated thousands of patients with breathing and chest-related problems and is trusted for both his expertise and his calm, reassuring approach.
He started his medical journey at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Ajmer, where he completed his MBBS in 1998. He then went on to specialise in lung and chest diseases by completing his MD in Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases from the famous VP Chest Institute in Delhi in 2004.
Dr. Khanna is especially skilled in advanced lung procedures that help diagnose and treat complicated issues without major surgery. He performs procedures like EBUS-guided biopsies, fibreoptic bronchoscopy, medical thoracoscopy, tracheal stenting, laser and cryobiopsy techniques, and even removes foreign objects stuck in the airways. These techniques allow patients to get accurate diagnosis and treatment with minimal discomfort and quicker recovery.
