Dr. Meet Kumar has been practicing haematology and BMT for over 14 years. He has attended prestigious colleges across India. He has completed over 700 bone marrow transplants (autologous, allogeneic, matched unrelated, and haplo-identical).
He completed his MBBS and MD from Jamnagar, Gujarat, and his DM in Clinical Hematology from NRS Medical College in Kolkata. He completed his residency in bone marrow transplantation at Tata Medical Centre in Kolkata, as well as specific training in BMT and chimeric antigen receptor (CART) cell therapy at King’s College in London.
He was honored for founding the first Bone Marrow Transplant Center in any state government set-up in Vadodara, Gujarat. He has received numerous honors, including the ‘Hisar Gaurav’ and ‘Global Award’ for Emerging Hematologist.
He is an executive member of the Indian Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, India’s largest national hematology body.
He is also a professional member of several hematology societies, including the American Society of Haematology, the Bengal Society of Haematology, and the Delhi Society of Hematology. He has around 20 research papers published in reputable national and international journals.
