Dr. Anupam Das is a highly skilled paediatric and adult cardiac surgeon, currently serving as the Senior Consultant and Head of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad. He is known for his expertise in adult cardiac surgery, paediatric and neonatal cardiac surgery, and Blalock-Taussig (BT) shunt procedures, and is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care to patients with complex heart conditions.
Dr. Das completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery, followed by MCh in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) and DNB in Cardiothoracic Surgery. He holds MRCS (Edinburgh, UK), MEBCTS (Europe) in Adult and Congenital Cardiac Surgery, and FRCS (Cardiothoracic Surgery, Edinburgh, UK). He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and has completed a Fellowship in Critical Care Echocardiography (FCCE) under the aegis of ICA, IACTS, and the Bangalore Chapter of IACTA.
Over the years, Dr. Anupam Das has been recognized for his contributions to medical research and practice. He received the Award of Honour at NATCON-IASO for his poster presentation on depressive psychosis and its correlation with the response to neo-adjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer patients.
He has also presented papers on impacted pancreatic duct calculi and primary parotid tuberculosis at the Delhi State Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India, where he was awarded second prize in the Surgical Quiz at DDU Hospital, Delhi. At the 62nd Annual Meeting of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons at SGPGI, Lucknow, he presented his work on the expanding indications of unidirectional valved patch in managing patients with advanced pulmonary arterial hypertension.
