Dr. Rahul Kapoor is a highly experienced Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over 20 years of clinical experience. He is currently working as the Head of Department (HOD) and Consultant of Reconstructive Surgery & Plastic Surgery at Manipal Hospital. Dr. Kapoor is known for helping patients regain both function and appearance after cancer treatment, trauma, or complex surgeries.
He completed his MBBS from Sawai Man Singh Medical College, University of Rajasthan, followed by an MS in General Surgery and an MCh in Plastic Surgery. This strong academic background allows him to handle complicated reconstructive procedures with precision and care.
Dr. Kapoor specializes in a wide range of reconstructive procedures, including breast reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, limb reconstruction, and facial reconstruction. He also treats conditions like lymphedema, diabetic foot problems, post-radiation wounds, and trauma-related injuries. In addition, he performs advanced surgeries such as facial reanimation for facial paralysis, ear reconstruction, hand surgery, and nasal reconstruction, helping patients restore normal appearance and daily function.
