Dr. Aditya Sai is a Senior Consultant of Orthopaedics at Hiranandani Hospital with 18 years of experience in treating bone, joint, and sports injuries. He completed his MBBS and then specialized in Orthopaedic surgery with MS and DNB degrees. To gain advanced knowledge, he trained in countries like Austria, Germany, the USA, Singapore, and South Africa. His special focus is on shoulder, knee, and hip problems, especially those caused by sports injuries or accidents.
He treats many shoulder conditions, such as frozen shoulder, shoulder dislocation, ligament tears, rotator cuff injuries, fractures, and tendon problems. Many of these issues cause pain, weakness, and difficulty in lifting the arm. Dr. Sai performs modern “keyhole” surgeries (arthroscopy), which require small cuts and help patients recover faster with less pain. His aim is to reduce discomfort and help patients move their shoulder normally again.
For knee problems, he treats ligament injuries like ACL and PCL tears, meniscus injuries, cartilage damage, and knee fractures. He also performs joint-preserving surgeries that help patients avoid early knee replacement. He has treated many sports professionals, including players from the Ranji Trophy, ISL, and the Indian football team. His experience with athletes helps him understand sports injuries better and plan proper treatment for quick and safe recovery.
Dr. Sai also manages hip problems such as hip impingement, labral tears, cartilage injuries, and tendon tears around the hip joint. He performs hip arthroscopy to treat these conditions with minimal cuts. He is a member of well-known orthopaedic societies and has treated patients not only from India but also from countries like the UK, UAE, Nigeria, Germany, and Israel. He also reviews medical research papers and has published several studies in the field of shoulder and knee surgery.
