Dr. Biswarup Purkayastha is a highly skilled cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon with 17 years of experience. He currently works as a Consultant in Heart & Lung Transplant and Vascular Surgery at Artemis Hospitals. His areas of expertise include heart transplant, lung transplant, heart-lung transplant, CABG, valve surgery, aortic surgery, and LVAD implantation.
He completed his MBBS in 2012 and later pursued DrNB in Cardiothoracic Surgery from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, in 2019. He also holds MEBCTS membership by examination and ELSO Level 1 and 101 certification as an Adult ECMO Practitioner.
