What is Arthroscopic Meniscus Repair?

Arthroscopic Meniscus Repair or Arthroscopy knee Surgery is an operation to repair torn cartilage of the knee. The torn meniscus is repaired by a variety of minimally invasive techniques. Meniscus tear treatment will depend on the size, type, and location of cartilage. The doctor will probably have an MRI done, and he may have an arthroscopy which is a thin tool that has a camera and light at the end. It allows doctors to see inside the joints. If the arthroscopy allows the surgeon to see the tear, he or she can determine whether the tear can be repaired or whether the meniscus should be removed.
