Dr Malankar is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon with 8 years of post Mch experience in the field of cardiac surgery. He is trained in cardiothoracic surgery started from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, which is a premier institute and considered as one of the best in the country, where he learned the basics of cardiac surgery and stayed there for 3 more years to gain some operative experience. That was followed by a 2 year fellowship in Adult cardiac surgery at The Cleveland Clinic which is ranked no 1 in the USA where he was exposed to the state of the art Minimally invasive Cardiac Surgery and Heart failure surgeries like LVAD insertion and Heart transplant. He is also trained in the various aspects of congenital heart diseases and their surgical options during his fellowship at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, learning about variety of neonatal and pediatric cardiac surgery cases and their perioperative management.
