Dr. Amit Gupta is an experienced heart specialist working as a Consultant in the Department of Cardiology at Manipal Hospital. With more than 23 years of medical experience, he has been helping patients with a variety of heart-related problems through safe, modern, and effective treatments.
He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Dhule in 1999, followed by MD in General Medicine from Jiwaji University, Gwalior in 2003. Later, he pursued advanced training in heart care and earned his DNB in Cardiology from the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in 2010. His strong academic background and years of dedicated practice make him a trusted name in cardiac care.
Dr. Gupta specializes in Interventional Cardiology, which means he treats heart diseases using minimally invasive procedures rather than open surgery. His expertise includes complex coronary angioplasty, peripheral angioplasty, and valve interventions. He also performs procedures like pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device implantation, which help regulate the heart rhythm.
