Dr. Ashwani Kumar Bakhshi is an experienced ophthalmologist with over 29 years of experience in eye care. He is currently the Director of Ophthalmology at Accord Superspeciality Hospital, Faridabad. He completed his MBBS in 1992, followed by a Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO) and MS in 1995. He provides care for various eye conditions and helps patients explore suitable treatment options based on their needs.
Dr. Bakhshi specialises in cataract surgery, including laser-assisted procedures, vitreo-retinal surgery, LASIK, and other treatments for vision problems. His areas of expertise also include retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, corneal ulcers, and macular oedema. He also treats conditions such as squint, dry eyes, uveitis, and other disorders affecting the eyes, eyelids, and surrounding structures.
During his career, Dr. Bakhshi has worked as a clinical ophthalmologist and administrator at Venu Eye Institute, New Delhi, from 1996 to 2000. He also served as a consultant in the Department of Ophthalmology at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad.
