Dr. Prashant Mehta is the best medical oncologist specialist in India. He is currently employed as a Senior Consultant in the Medical Oncology Department at Amrita Hospital Faridabad, India. He received his DM fellowship in Medical Oncology and BMT from the country’s finest institute, AIIMS, in New Delhi.

He has more than 12 years of experience in the field. He leads Amrita’s cellular therapy program, which aims to make CAR-T Cell Therapies more accessible in India. He is skilled in immunotherapy and precision oncology, which he applies well in appropriate situations.

Dr. Prashant Mehta is credited for performing the first bone marrow transplant, total body irradiation transplant, and MUD transplant in the Faridabad region. He specializes in treating acute leukemia and lymphoma in children and adults, as well as bone marrow transplantation, including haploidentical and low-toxicity transplantation.

He has served as Principal Investigator for over 20 clinical trials and is a founding member of the ‘Science and Cost’ group, which seeks to enhance access to cancer care in India through scientific tactics. He has over 60 publications in national and international journals, including book chapters. He is also the Joint Editor and Web Editor for our national oncology journal, IJMPO.

He was awarded the popular Prof GS Bhattacharya Award for Best All-Round Oncologist in India in 2021 by the Indian Cooperative Oncology Network (ICON).
