Dr. Sandeep Attawar is one of the leading heart and lung transplant surgeons in India and currently works as the Chief Surgeon for Thoracic Organ Transplantation at KIMS Hospitals. He has 22 years of experience and is known for successfully handling complex heart, lung, and thoracic transplant cases.
Dr. Attawar completed all his medical training at the renowned Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences in Kerala. He completed his MBBS, followed by an MS in General Surgery, and then an MCh in Cardiovascular Surgery from the same institute.
He specializes in a wide range of heart and chest-related surgeries.
