Dr. Sajal Ajmani is a well-known Rheumatologist currently working as a Consultant in Rheumatology at Manipal Hospital. With around 13 years of medical experience, he has helped many patients manage long-term joint and autoimmune conditions and improve their quality of life.
He completed his MBBS from the University of Delhi in 2010 and then went on to pursue his MD in Medicine from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, in 2013. To further strengthen his expertise, Dr. Ajmani earned the MRCP (UK) qualification from the Royal College of Physicians in London in 2016. This international training allows him to follow global best practices while treating patients in India.
Dr. Ajmani specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of rheumatological conditions. His areas of expertise include arthritis management, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus (SLE), Sjogren’s syndrome, systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), reactive arthritis, myositis, and sarcoidosis. He also has special experience in pediatric rheumatology, treating children with juvenile arthritis and other joint-related conditions. In addition, he manages skin-related autoimmune issues such as psoriasis in close coordination with other specialists.
He is an active member of the Indian Rheumatology Association and the Royal College of Physicians (UK), which helps him stay updated with the latest advancements in his field.
Dr. Ajmani’s dedication to research and academic excellence has been recognized through several awards. He received an Oral Paper Presentation award by AIIMS and the API Delhi Chapter in 2013, the Young Researcher Bursary Award in 2016, and the prestigious INDO-UK Travelling Fellowship in 2019
