Manas Panigrahi works as a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad. He has 22 years of expertise as a neurosurgeon. He completed his MCh Neurosurgery at NIMHANS in Bangalore.
He has performed over 500 Cerebellopontine angle tumor surgeries, 400 aneurysm surgeries, 100 arteriovenous malformations (AVM), 600 pituitary tumor surgeries, 1000 glioma surgeries, 600 cervical spine surgeries, 1000 lumbar surgeries, and 300 endoscopic surgeries.
He has over 140 articles in national and international journals, has contributed chapters to Neuroscience textbooks, and has received best paper awards at international and national conferences.
He is a member of several national and international organizations, including the Indian Epilepsy Association, the Indian Epilepsy Society, the Neurological Society of India, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the Indian Medical Association.
He is an important member of KIMS Hospitals’ comprehensive epilepsy surgery treatment programs and has performed over 750 epilepsy surgeries. He is a pioneer in deep brain stimulation for Parkinson’s disease, completing over 100 DBS surgeries.
