Dr. M.A. Mir is a well-known gastroenterologist and endoscopist with over 17 years of experience. He is currently a senior consultant with Artemis Hospital in Gurgaon. He formerly worked at the Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute for Liver and Digestive Diseases and Rockland Hospitals.
He received training in various parts of gastroenterology at various Indian Institutes of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar. He is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.
He is skilled in all gastrointestinal procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopies, foreign body removal from the GI tract, metallic stenting of esophageal, duodenal, and enteral strictures, PEG tube placements, endoscopic band ligation/sclerotherapy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography (ERCP), and liver biopsies.
