Dr. Bhaskar Nandi is a well-known gastroenterologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal problems.
He is an astute doctor who specializes in liver disorders and transplantation. He specializes in the treatment of liver failure, fatty liver disease, alcoholic liver disease, liver cancer, chronic hepatitis B and C, and liver transplants.
He also has substantial experience with IBD (ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease). Before joining Amrita Hospital, he distinguished himself in the Armed Forces for over thirty years.
He was the Head of Gastroenterology at Army Hospital (Research & Referral), Delhi, and a member of the Liver Transplantation Team.
He managed the Armed Forces organ donation program. He also teaches and examines in medicine and gastroenterology.
