Dr. Arif Akhtar is a well-known Uro-Surgeon with more than 13 years of experience in treating diseases related to the kidneys, urinary system, and male reproductive organs. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from JN Medical College, AMU, Aligarh, followed by an MCh in Urology from PGIMER, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. He also holds the FACS (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, USA), which shows his international recognition and expertise.
Over the years, he has successfully performed more than 10,000 surgeries, helping patients with kidney stones, prostate problems, urinary difficulties, cancers, and other urological conditions.
He specializes in minimally invasive surgeries, which use small cuts and advanced tools to remove kidney stones, making recovery faster and less painful. Dr. Akhtar also performs laparoscopic surgeries for both non-cancerous and cancerous problems of the kidney, bladder, ureter, and prostate.
