She completed her MBBS from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, followed by an MD in Medicine from Lokmanya Tilak Medical College, Sion Hospital. She later specialized further with a DM in Nephrology from the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute, Lucknow.
