Dr. J. V. Srinivas is a senior orthopaedic specialist with over 26 years of clinical experience in treating bone, joint, and movement-related problems. He is currently associated with Aster Hospital as the Lead Senior Consultant of the Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement, where he provides advanced care for patients suffering from joint pain, injuries, and degenerative conditions.
He completed his MBBS from Bangalore University in 1997 and went on to pursue MS in Orthopaedics from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, in 2001. His education from top medical institutions has given him strong expertise in both surgical and non-surgical orthopaedic treatments.
Dr. Srinivas has wide experience in joint replacement surgeries, especially total knee and total hip replacements, which help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. He is also skilled in arthroscopic procedures, a modern, minimally invasive method used to treat problems of the knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle. His treatment areas include meniscus repair, PCL reconstruction, carpal tunnel release, shoulder replacement surgery, and spine procedures such as laminectomy.
He is an active member of the Karnataka Orthopaedic Association and the Bangalore Orthopaedic Society, allowing him to stay updated with the latest techniques and advancements in orthopaedics.
