After graduating from Sri Siddhartha Medical College in Tumkur, Dr Nagesh Basavaraj received his DNB in General Surgery from HAL Hospital, Banglore and his M.Ch in Cardiothoracic Surgery from NIMS, Hyderabad. To further hone his knowledge in the field of advanced thoracic surgery, he completed his Uniportal VATS Training from Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital in Shanghai, China. Dr Basavaraj also holds a Masters Degree in Minimal Invasive Thoracic Surgery (Robotic) from Dukes University (Florida, USA). He also completed his International Physician Observer Program in heart and lung transplant from Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland Ohio, USA).
