Assessment and Treatment in India for Recurring Cancer – Sample Opinion for Medical Case Received // Case Number – OD/2025/2112 // 65-year-old // Kazakhstan

Recurrence of cancer Summary: 

Having gone through the case history of the 65-year-old lady from Kazakhstan Ms. YZ, and relating them to information now, it can be concluded that Ms. YZ, has been an identified case of cancer from past. She has gone through the cancer treatment a few years ago. In recent, she has shown symptoms related to recurrence of cancer but in absence of a complete report, we do not know how many organs are currently involved. We will need to investigate here in India to know the current status of the disease and then plan the treatment.

Investigations for Relapse cancer case

Investigations needed to confirm the recurrent cancer diagnosis and plan the treatment: – 

Ms. YZ will need to go through a PET CT Scan, A fresh Biopsy, possibly complete cancer panel and other required tests including a molecular and genetic test. To find out the effectivity of Target Therapy, we may have to look into her molecular and genetic tests. Once we have the test results, we will be better position to plan the treatment.

Possible Line of Treatment / Plan for : _ There may be multiple possibilities in this Relapse cancer case –

1. If the disease has reoccurred but is limited to one specific site – In such Relapse cancer case, after the possibility of a surgery is established, it is best to do a surgery and follow it up with chemotherapy.
2. If the disease is independent and can’t be considered as a reoccurrence or malignant and is localized to a specific organ, it is best to do a surgery only.
3. If the disease has reoccurred but is limited to one specific site – But a surgery is not possible, she will be offered Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy.
4. If the disease has reoccurred and has metastasized (spread to multiple locations), She will need Chemotherapy.
5. If the disease has reoccurred and has metastasized (spread to multiple locations) and her genetic & Molecular study report support, she will need Target Therapy.

On Arrival:

Patient and his attendants will be received at the airport by our Representative. Apart from the medical and nursing team, one Case Manager will take care of all the needs. We shall also assist them with the reasonably charged accommodation near the hospital.  Patient and attendant may arrange 35-50 USD per day toward accommodation and food at Guest House.
