Dr. Sufla Saxena, one of Delhi’s best paediatric gastroenterologists and hepatologists, is currently the Head of Department and Consultant at Manipal Hospitals in Delhi. Dr. Saxena has over 22 years of experience in her specialty and has contributed significantly to child healthcare in both India and the United Kingdom.
Dr. Saxena’s academic career began with an MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College in Indore, followed by a DNB in Pediatrics from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. She furthered her knowledge by completing fellowships in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the prestigious Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and Birmingham Children’s Hospital in the United Kingdom.
Her commitment to her profession can be seen by her membership in various renowned organizations, including the British Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and the Indian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
Throughout her career, Dr. Saxena has been recognized for her remarkable clinical skills and compassionate patient care. She was named Most Charismatic Woman by the INMO group and got the NNF Gold Medal for her exceptional paper in Neonatology at PEDINEOCON 2006. She was also recognized by the Mayor of Indore for her efforts to treat youngsters with liver disorders.
Dr. Saxena specializes in treating severe paediatric gastrointestinal and liver diseases. She pioneered the construction of specialist clinics, such as the “Yellow Baby Clinic,” which treats infants with jaundice. Her therapeutic interests include treating GERD, chronic constipation, pancreatitis, and cholecystitis/cholelithiasis.
