Dr. Priyadarshi Amit is a highly experienced Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon who specializes in shoulder and elbow joint problems. Dr. Amit has over 17 years of expertise and specializes in both surgical and nonsurgical therapies.
He completed his MBBS and MS (Orthopaedics) degrees from the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) in Puducherry in 2007 and 2011, respectively.
Dr. Priyadarshi acquired a DNB (Orthopaedics) from the National Board of Examinations in New Delhi in 2012 and an MCh (Trauma & Orthopaedics) from Edge Hill University in the United Kingdom in 2017.
He completed rigorous fellowship programs in Arthroscopy and Upper Limb Surgery at prestigious institutions such as the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and the Royal London Hospital.
He specializes in open and arthroscopic surgeries, and offers world-class care to patients suffering from sports injuries, trauma, and orthopaedic problems. He conducts both simple and major surgical operations on the shoulders and elbows, including as arthroscopy, fracture care, and joint replacement.
He is actively interested in academic pursuits, having presented his research at many national and international conferences, as well as participating in scientific gatherings through lectures and live surgeries.
Dr. Priyadarshi is an active member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, the Shoulder and Elbow Society of India, the Indian Orthopaedic Association, and the Specialized Center for Orthopedics and Traumatology (SICOT).
