Dr. Piyush Kumar Agrawal is a highly experienced cancer surgeon with over 23 years of medical practice. He is currently working as the Director & Head of the Department of Surgical Oncology at Shalby International Hospital. Over the years, he has treated a large number of cancer patients and is known for his patient-focused and practical approach to care.
Dr. Agrawal completed his MBBS from LLRM Medical College, Meerut, followed by MS in General Surgery from SN Medical College, Jodhpur. To further specialize in cancer surgery, he pursued MCh in Surgical Oncology from BJMC & GCRI, Ahmedabad, one of the leading cancer institutes in India.
He has wide experience in treating different types of cancers. His key areas of expertise include head and neck cancers, as well as thyroid and parotid gland surgeries. He also treats gynecological cancers, such as cancers of the uterus, cervix, ovary, vulva, and vagina. In addition, Dr. Agrawal manages skin cancers, thoracic cancers involving the lungs, rib cage, thymus, and trachea, and urological cancers affecting the urinary bladder, testis, and penis.
Dr. Agrawal is especially skilled in limb preservation surgeries, where the goal is to remove cancer while saving the affected arm or leg, particularly in cases of soft tissue sarcoma and skin cancer.
