He is Head and Director – Department of Neurosurgery at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon. He has been a teaching faculty at AIIMS and at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He was a professor of Neurology at the Guwahati Medical College.
